This is a pretty and rare Nubian anklet made from sheet of silver (hollow inside) and deocrated with chasing and applique shapes. The finials have the three dimensional combination of squares and triangles that can be seen in Yemeni, Tuareg and Nubian bracelets.  Similar examples can be seen Azza Fahmy's book Enchanted Jewelry of Egypt. Can also be worn as a bracelet. In good vintage condition. There is a small dent on the inside of the finial.

The inner circumference is 16.5 cm (6 1/2") with another 2.5 cm (1") gap. The Width is 2.5 cm (1") and thicker at the ends. Weight is 86 grams.
